One studio from the first sketch to the production line

Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci stay on a project long after the drawing is approved. Their studio states that it follows the entire product development process, supporting the client step by step — which, for a manufacturer, means one interlocutor instead of a handover.

Archirivolto Design was founded in 1983 in Colle di Val d'Elsa, in the province of Siena, and narrowed its field to seating: chairs, sofas, stools, office and outdoor pieces. For S•CAB they designed the Mentha collection, supplied by La Mercanti within the workspace range.

Behind it sits a stated ambition — making beauty accessible — and a condition they set themselves: the piece has to work at scale.
