Stefano Boeri Interiors, a chair held in Milan, lessons held worldwide
The name on the door carries an unusual credential: Stefano Boeri holds the chair of full professor of architecture at the Politecnico di Milano and has taught as visiting professor at universities across several continents. In 2018 he founded Stefano Boeri Interiors in Milan with Giorgio Donà, bringing interior architecture, exhibition design and product design into a single practice — one that studies how workplaces are changing before it agrees to furnish them, and backs the research with engineering, planning and quality control of its own.
For Frezza the studio designed Mux70 — a height-adjustable executive desk, meeting table, coffee table and sideboard — renewing a collection born in 1984. For Indian companies planning offices that must serve the next decade rather than the next season, La Mercanti keeps this signature within reach. The syllabus, here, is the workplace itself.
