Ask for a pouffe and you get a size. Ask for Waves and you get a vocabulary. The Diamond is 105 × 53 cm with two pointed ends; the Parallel runs 192 cm like a lozenge stretched along a wall; the Trapezium is 193 cm and wider on one side; the Hexagon is a 185 × 108 cm island; the Leaf is a daybed with a headrest; the Trio joins three Diamonds into a clover; the Conic is a round stool, 48 cm across. Seven names, seven plans, and a reception floor that can be written in words before it is drawn.
The pieces hold together thanks to a magnet each one hides in its frame, and three of them – Diamond, Parallel and Trapezium – take a small backrest. The family dates from 2018 and carries the signature of Constance Guisset; LaCividina describes it as born from the sea and places it, as visitor chairs, in reception halls and exhibition spaces, with wooden tables that hide power and USB. La Mercanti composes the set on your plan and delivers it to Indian offices assembled, with the frame reinforced for public areas that the manufacturer declares.
