The Perle collection is usually seen through its glass: bubbles, layers, facets, hammered surfaces. But there is a third family that architects reach for more often than the photographs suggest — Perle di Metallo, where the sphere is made of the same metal as the body, in the same finish.
What changes is the reading. With glass or stone, the control is an inclusion: a different material sitting on the fitting. In metal, the object becomes one continuous piece, and the interest moves to the profile and to the finish — Black Metal PVD, Matte Black, Brass PVD, Nickel PVD, Warm Bronze, Dark Bronze. The maker calls this family «exemplary and iconic», and on the freestanding basin mixers the metal spheres stand on the totemic pedestal like a single sculpted volume.
It is also the family that carries the collection into rooms where a glass control would be at risk: high-traffic guest cloakrooms, hospitality bathrooms, corridors of handles and locks that use the same language.
