Fixed arms cast in aluminium, with X130PAD pads as an add-on: That’s it Executive from Quinti
Of the arm options on That’s it Executive, one is cast from the metal of the chair itself. Code QX1307SOS carries fixed arms in die-cast aluminium, and Quinti lists a separate accessory for them, X130PAD: a pair of covered pads that sit on top of the aluminium. Because the pads are an add-on with their own code, the arm can stay as bare metal or be softened, chair by chair. Quinti, based at Cesa in the Arezzo province, produces it from Alegre Design’s drawings.
Among the boss chairs we list, it stands out for a structure that is die-cast aluminium throughout, finished polished or in a Metalli Quinti paint. The back pairs polyurethane foam with an aluminium frame; the 5 cm seat has double stitching on its sides and a contoured front edge; depth is set by sliding it between 48 and 56 cm. A synchronised, self-weighing mechanism is housed in the underseat. Overall height measures 103-115 cm and seat height 42-53 cm.
The remaining two versions are QX1307SO0, with no arms, and QX1307SO3, whose 4D arms are black polypropylene. Bases come as Light (five spokes) or Leggera (four), both polished aluminium on castors. Covered in hide, it joins our leather executive chair selection. The armed versions take the desk of a director’s cabin, and the armless one is what we propose around its meeting table. La Mercanti lists the PAD pairs next to every chair ordered with fixed arms.

FAQ
In how many positions does That’s it Executive lock its recline?
In five positions. Seat and back tilt together and can be held at any of them, and an anti-shock system is built into the mechanism, as the Quinti data sheet describes it, and the same lock works on every arm option of the chair.
Why is the front of the seat shaped the way it is?
The front edge has an anatomical shape that Quinti describes as anti-stress for the legs. Because the seat always slides, that shaped edge moves forward or back together with it whenever the depth is changed.
Can That’s it Executive be ordered on the Leggera base?
Yes. Leggera is the base with four spokes, made of polished aluminium and running on castors, and Quinti offers it with every That’s it Executive, next to the Light as the second option.
Which upholstery categories can be specified?
Quinti offers the chair in upholstery categories 2, 3, 5, 7 and IM. Whichever is chosen, the same cover dresses the seat and both faces of the back, the rear included, so the chair reads as one piece.
Who designed That’s it Executive for the Quinti range?
Alegre Design, the studio of Andrés Baldoví and Marcelo Alegre. Quinti credits the design to them in the technical documentation of the chair.
Receiving That’s it Executive and placing it in the cabin
From the delivery door to the desk: five steps with the figures from Quinti’s technical documentation for That’s it Executive.
Plan the shipping volume of That’s it Executive
Quinti gives a shipping volume of 0.43 m³ for every version, with or without arms. Count that space per chair in the lift and in the corridor on the way to the cabin.
Check the weight of each version
The armless chair weighs 14 kg; both armed versions weigh 17 kg. The code on the order tells which of the two figures to expect for each chair delivered.
Clear the floor for it
In place, the chair needs 68 cm in width and 68 cm in depth. Measure that square behind the desk beforehand, so the chair goes straight to its place.
Allow for the base diameter
Both the Light and the Leggera base span 680 mm. That circle on the floor is what each chair occupies at its feet, whichever of the two bases is fitted underneath.
Roll it into position
The standard wheels are black nylon with a double tread, 65 mm in diameter. Once delivered, the chair rolls from the doorway to the desk on its own castors.
