The test table at the front of the Quinti price list is a grid of squares, and The Season Comfort and Slim have three of them: 1IM approval, the Italian fire class for upholstered seating in public buildings; EN 1335 type C, the office chair standard; and CAM, the minimum environmental criteria for Italian public procurement. The Net page carries the EN 1335 C mark on its own row. For a facilities manager writing a tender in Bengaluru or Mumbai, those are the three lines that turn a chair into an item.
Behind the marks sits a single structure. A 25 mm steel tube, chromed or painted black, carries the arms, end caps and a rear handle in aluminium without a screw in sight; on it rests a soft 1.3 mm Eurolene shell, and on the shell one of three skins. The first two, Comfort (4 cm of foam at 60 kg/m³, double-seamed) and Slim (1.5 cm, stitched in horizontal lines), are the ones the test table covers; ordered in categories 5 to 8, either becomes a leather executive chair. The third, Net, is a PVC mesh welded by heat, black or white. Among boss chairs, that makes The Season one frame with three price-list pages rather than three products.
In a director’s cabin the order usually needs two rows. The director’s seat is the high back with the M5 tilt, gas lift, working-position lock and tension wheel, on the five-star Leggera; visitors opposite get the mid-height back on the M8 swivel plate and the Shop base, whose glides keep the chair where it was put. A third row, the mid-height back again with M8 but on Leggera castors, covers a manager’s own desk. Finish AL or V6, arm pads Pad or Full, a six-year guarantee as Quinti declares it. The three marks go onto an Indian specification from La Mercanti exactly as the price list prints them, so that every buyer can check each one against the source.
Share the finishes you wish to evaluate
With horizontal stitching across a 1.5 cm padding: the data sheet describes the cover as sewn with stitches in horizontal rows and attached by hook-and-loop to the Eurolene shell. Quinti calls the result soft, pleasant to the touch and refined.
A swivel plate with height adjustment and no tilt, fitted to the two medium-back models. The chair turns and rises on the gas lift but the back does not rock, which is what a chair on the visitor side of a desk or around a meeting table is asked to do.
Two, sold as pairs: the Pad (code X990PAD) and the Full (X990FULL). Both are upholstered covers on a lightly padded metal support that dress the fixed aluminium armrests; the Full version covers more of the arm.
Six years from delivery, printed in the 2026 price list and on the data sheet, for products used according to the instructions supplied. It is a declaration of the producer; the terms of application are in Quinti’s general conditions.
Three. Pelle in category 5 or 6, a 100 % bovine hide of 620 g per linear metre tested to EN 1021-1/2; Pelle Premium Up and Elegance in category 7, full-grain 1.2 to 1.4 mm; and Pelle Seta in category 8, full-grain aniline-tanned hide of 1.8 to 2 mm. All three go on Comfort and Slim.
The medium-back model of The Season on the Shop base turns without rolling. Five steps to place it around an Indian boardroom table using the Quinti data sheet.
The Season is 70 cm wide across the armrests. Mark that width per seat on the table drawing and add the room for two neighbours to turn to the screen at the same time.
Code QX099S: medium back, M8 swivel plate with lift, four-star Shop base on glides, 680 mm across. It swivels and adjusts in height but does not tilt and does not roll away when a guest stands up.
AL for chrome and polished aluminium, V6 for black. One finish on every chair keeps the row of handles behind the backs reading as a single line from the door.
Sit on each chair, work the lever, stop at the same figure between 42 and 52 cm and note it. Guests rarely touch the lever, so the height you set is the height the room keeps.
Comfort for a boardroom that receives clients, Slim for a room used daily, Net for a warm building without full-day cooling. Mixing skins around one table is possible, but the price list sells them as three chairs for a reason.
