Verzelloni has been making upholstered furniture in Parma since 1950 — one family, one facility, one fully Italian supply chain, from frame to foam to cover. In the early 1970s it was among the first manufacturers to spread removable covers on high-end pieces: a cover that can be cleaned or replaced, so a sofa is maintained for fifteen years rather than replaced in five. La Mercanti brings the Verzelloni collection into premium projects in India, with covers and fabrics sampled first.
