Daniele Del Missier, one hand for the office's two skeletons

A fit-out has two skeletons: the walls that divide the floor and the desks that fill it. Daniele Del Missier draws both. Born in Buenos Aires in 1952 and trained at Venice's IUAV, he spent seventeen years with Bandiera e Facchini, four at Ubis and eleven leading R&D at Faram before the Centro Progetti Tecno called in 2013.

For Tecno he signed the W80 and W40 partition walls — the W80 won the Red Dot Design Award and the ADI Design Index in 2015 — and the Clavis system: table, workstation and meeting in one family. For Indian projects handled through La Mercanti, that means the divider and the desk can come from a single, coherent hand.
