One studio for buildings and for objects: Avenue Architects and its founder, Dante Bonuccelli

Dante Bonuccelli, founder of Avenue Architects in Milan, architect working on buildings and industrial design

Architecture and industrial design under one roof: that is the scope of Avenue Architects, the studio Dante Bonuccelli set up in Milan in 1998, with projects in Europe, Asia, America and Australia. The two scales were already part of his career. In Argentina, between 1980 and 1983, he designed buildings; after the move to Milan in 1984 he handled buildings, exhibitions, interiors and products for other practices, Gregotti Associati among them from 1985. His client list reflects both sides: Eni and Ansaldo next to design companies such as Molteni & C and Alias. Published in more than 50 magazines and books, his projects have been shown in Italy, Japan and Singapore.

The object side of that practice is represented in our catalogue by Blade System, produced by Lamm for lecture halls, seminar rooms and auditoria. For an Indian institute or convention centre, the seating plan is prepared by its architects, and La Mercanti follows the project from the first layout.
