A complete service, from drawing to production — Giovanni Baccolini
What companies buy from Giovanni Baccolini is not a sketch but a complete service: design, engineering and the right answers — to the business placing the order, to the person who will actually sit down, to the taste of the moment. Born in Bologna in 1956 with an industrial technician's training, he began with bicycles and motorcycles, spent twenty years supplying polyurethane components to houses such as Poltrona Frau and Knoll International, and in 1992 founded Studio Omega, which he still leads.
That end-to-end habit suits large projects well: today he designs for Della Rovere and Arper, brands La Mercanti brings to offices and campuses from Milan to Mumbai. One hand carries the idea from the first line to the production tooling — and it shows in how the furniture lasts.
