Ares Line builds the system around a vertical structure that adjusts to each step height, three seat versions and writing tablets from fixed to anti-panic. Designed by BaccoliniDesign, it equips the Politecnico di Milano, City University College in Doha and corporate academies like Salvagnini's — the same rows work for degree courses and executive training alike.

Does the seat make noise when students leave?
The optional Silent Mechanism cushions the seat closing — a difference you hear when two hundred seats fold within a minute at the end of a lecture. Note it cannot be combined with the Soft Plus seat.
Is a headrest available for steep halls?
Yes: on steps between 28 and 35 cm an upholstered headrest panel can be added to Master and Pad backrests, giving tall raked rooms the comfort profile of an auditorium.
How durable is the beech plywood version?
Beech plywood is the system's structural wood — used for seats, backrests and front panels — and can be specified with a laminate facing where surfaces need daily scrubbing. It is the classic choice for high-rotation teaching rooms.
Is the system used outside universities?
Yes — corporate academies run on the same rows: the Salvagnini Academy, the Sole 24 Ore business school in Milan and the AGCO Agridome in Breganze all appear among the manufacturer's published projects.

Natural or alpine beech sets the base tone of every row — decide it first, the rest follows.
Layer the laminates
Tablet and seat laminates in white, grey, anthracite or black handle the surfaces that hands touch most.
Choose the metal shade
Structure finishes from grey to chrome should match door frames and handrails already in the building.
Reserve upholstery wisely
Fabric belongs where sessions run longest; plywood where rotation is highest — map it room by room.
