Hella Jongerius works at every scale — from a vase to an aircraft cabin

Few designers stretch across scales the way she does: Hella Jongerius has shaped porcelain and textiles, an aircraft cabin for KLM, and — with Rem Koolhaas — a diplomatic room at the United Nations. Dutch, running Jongeriuslab since 1993, she has directed Vitra's colours and materials since 2007, holds the Sikkens Prize 2017 for colour, and sits in the collections of the MoMA and the V&A.

In 2018, Mutina added stoneware to that range: the Diarama collection, which La Mercanti delivers to Indian projects — a colour scientist's floor, managed from Italy to site.
