A painter designing floors: Nathalie Du Pasquier's four Mutina collections

The job description is unusual: a painter who designs floors. Nathalie Du Pasquier — born in Bordeaux in 1957, Milanese since 1979, a founding member of Memphis who drew the fabrics and surfaces of the eighties — has devoted herself to painting since 1987. Mutina brought her back in 2019, and the return produced four named projects: Mattonelle Margherita, Paesaggi, the 3D elements Brac and the BRIC installation at MUT 4 — a painter's composition, fired for daily use.
