On the Node+ price list, two lines read like the start of a desk: a shelf of 140 × 26 cm and a shorter one of 70 × 26 cm, both 2 cm thick, in oak or Fenix. LaCividina writes that its seating range can be used for working, and these shelves are where that statement takes physical shape. The collection is the 2021 work of Ben van Berkel / UNStudio, conceived as padded pieces, backrests and screens from which to plan “micro-architectural systems”, places where relaxing, working, privacy and conversation can happen together, sometimes in the same corner.
Browsing sofas and lounge furniture, the part to read first is the seat range, all at 42 cm: the 90 × 90 cm square seat, a 180 × 90 cm seat, the 180 × 180 cm island, a half island whose one side is rounded, and the luna, a semicircle of 90 by 45 cm. Padded backrests 72 cm high and 18 cm thick can be positioned freely. Underneath, the frame mixes fir and beech in solid wood, beech plywood plus painted steel, and the cushioning is polyurethane foam, fire-retardant, at differentiated densities, plus polyester fibre.
The full range runs from the floor upwards: cushions sold separately in three formats, two round ash tables in a natural finish, the seats themselves under the three named versions, sofa, dormeuse and systems, then the 117 cm acoustic backrests, and finally the screens, padded or in wood, with USB and power sockets available on request. In reception areas we use it alongside waiting-room chairs, so visitors can sit, wait or answer an email. La Mercanti lists for the client which seats get a shelf and which get a socket.

It measures 180 × 90 cm and carries code 1301 in the LaCividina price list. It is twice the length of the square seat, so a straight run can be laid out with fewer pieces, and it is the seat whose footprint the half island shares.
Yes. Code 1334 is a rounded acoustic corner of 94 × 94 cm. Where the other acoustic corners turn at a right angle, this one follows a curve, closing a corner of the composition without an edge.
Yes. According to LaCividina, the base can be personalised with a tint supplied by the client, in addition to its standard finishes. It is one of the personalisations the maker lists for the collection.
Yes: LaCividina describes the frame as reinforced for use in public areas, and lists it among the features of the collection, next to its intended settings, living rooms and public spaces.
Through two connector systems that LaCividina lists in its technical data: one couples each seat to its backrest, the other links one element to the next one in the composition. Both belong to the Node+ build.
Node+ screens come in three heights, each upholstered or in wood, and the width depends on the version. Five steps to place them, settling the height before anything else.
Node+ screens come in three heights: 157 cm, 127 cm and 107 cm. Fix the height for each position on the plan before looking at width or finish, because each width belongs to one height.
The 157 cm screen is 104 cm wide when padded (code 1340) and 102 cm wide in wood (code 1341). Each screen in the Node+ collection has a base of its own, this one included.
Listed by LaCividina as largo, the 127 cm screen measures 124 cm across in the padded version (1342) and 122 cm in wood (1343). Its codes sit between those of the tall and the low screens.
At 107 cm, the low screen is the broadest of the three: 154 cm in its padded version (1344) and 152 cm in wood (1345). Of the three, it is the only one wider than it is tall.
Every height exists in two versions, upholstered or in wood, each set on a base. The choice is made screen by screen, so a single plan can mix both finishes.
