Mr Marco Olivieri established La Mercanti in 1997. The principle behind the firm holds to this day: a workplace communicates the stature of an organisation before its people do. For clients in India who want an executive cabin to carry that message, the executive desk remains a category in which Italy leads. Trained in marketing and guided by instinct, he served as an artillery officer during his military service. He is a father of four, practises calisthenics three mornings every week and accepts mediocrity nowhere, least of all in an office.
