Conference and meeting table Toa by Pedrali on aluminium bridge legs

The opening you specify: Toa by Pedrali, conference table with the SPEC cut-out, design Robin Rizzini

Most conference tables are cut for the manufacturer's own cable box. Toa has a third option Pedrali calls SPEC: an opening of 420 × 112 mm cut to order for the top-access unit the client already owns — the integrator's module with the HDMI, the power and the network sockets that the boardroom AV team has chosen for every other room in the building. You send the drawing of the unit, the top arrives cut for it, and the module drops in flush. It is offered on the 300 and 360 tables and on both two-piece conference sizes, beside the two standard cut-outs, the 60 mm CC60 slot and the CCO box with its cover in the top material.

Under the top is the leg Robin Rizzini designed: a bridge in cast aluminium, narrow at the floor and widening into a T where the load is, tied to its twin by extruded beams. That leg is what the rest of the range has in common: seven plain tables between 190 × 75 and 360 × 125 cm, boardroom tops of 519 and 610 cm, the 240 × 90 desk with its slot to one side, workstations of two or four stations behind sound-absorbing dividers, an outdoor version on exterior laminates, and a Toa Folding Screen that stands on the top and bends into whichever of its three letters the desk needs, U, S or L. La Mercanti asks every Indian client for the AV module's cut-out drawing together with the order, so the SPEC opening is confirmed before the top is machined in Italy.

FAQ

Which Toa tops are anti-fingerprint?
The codes beginning with F: FNP_NE with a black core, FNP_3452 and the five FNP decors 0719, 0791, 0789, 0792 and 0773 with a matching core, all 10 mm, and the 12 mm FMP_NE with a plywood core. The CFP and COP laminates are not marked anti-fingerprint on the spec sheet.
What is inside the CCO cut-out?
A black powder-coated steel tray under a 60 × 13.2 cm opening, closed by a cover cut from the same laminate as the Toa top. Cables drop from the sockets into the tray and run to the leg; with the cover down the opening reads as a seam in the top.
Is there a wood version of Toa?
One: the 240 × 90 table can be ordered with a 25 mm veneered top, code RS, at 55 kg. Every other Toa size and every conference, desk and workstation version comes in solid laminate only.
How many people work at the Toa workstation?
Pedrali counts stations: two on the 159 × 150 cm and four on the 300 × 150 cm, face to face across a 150 cm deep top, with DSP dividers of 45.5 or 61.5 cm in height between them. The frame is the same bridge leg as the Toa meeting table.
What is the packaging made of?
Cardboard that is 100% recycled and FSC certified, with plastic bags containing at least 35% recycled material, as Pedrali declares on the Toa spec sheets. The table travels disassembled in a single package, whatever the size.

How to receive Toa in a building that is already working

Five steps to bring a Toa conference table into an occupied office floor without stopping the floor: the crate, the lift, the room and the top.

Book the goods lift for the crate, not the table
Toa ships in one package, up to 1.21 m³ and 207 kg for the 610 conference; give the building the crate size and weight, and the lift slot follows.
Choose the hour from the corridor
The Toa top crosses the floor face down on its cardboard; pick a time when the corridor to the room is empty, before the day starts or after it ends.
Unpack inside the meeting room
Open the Toa crate in the room it will live in. The legs, the beams and the cable tray come out first; the top stays on the packing until the frame is bolted.
Assemble with the door closed
Two people fit the Toa bridge legs and beams, turn the table over onto its feet and set the cable cover or the SPEC module in the opening. Nothing leaves the room but the cardboard.
Hand over with the order line
La Mercanti's team checks the Toa against the order line — size, top code, cable option, frame finish — and photographs the top before the room is used, so the handover and the warranty start from the same date.
