Robin Rizzini draws the sofa and the desk with one hand

Most designers pick a side of the front door; Robin Rizzini works on both. His own studio describes the practice precisely: residential and office furniture, elements and systems, drawn as one continuous practice. The habit was formed in Milan — Antonio Citterio's team from 2000, his own studio in 2005, the Metrica partnership from 2009, full independence since January 2018 — and it explains a client list that runs from sofa houses to office manufacturers across three continents, endorsed by a Compasso d'Oro in 2014.

For Indian projects the office side matters most: Rizzini's clients include Arper, Pedrali and Estel, and his Hito executive system for IVM Office travels to India with La Mercanti's catalogue.
