Bespoke: size, colour, finish

Length is the number everyone argues about; depth is the one that decides the meeting. UniTable by ICF treats it as a real choice: the rectangular table is declared in two depths, 120 and 140 cm, for every length — 200, 240 and 280 in a single sector, 330 and 420 in two, 500 in three. At 120 the room keeps its circulation and the table stays a working tool; at 140 two laptops, two files and a conference phone sit face to face without touching. Twenty centimetres that no catalogue photo shows and every project manager feels.

The two depths ride on the same system: an extruded aluminium beam, bright anodised with a black decorative line, polished die-cast brackets positionable anywhere along it, polished die-cast legs. Four more shapes — round, square, barrel, trapezoidal up to 600 cm — plus the executive desk version (200–280 cm, itself in two depths, 100 and 120). Tops in melamine, Fenix, oak or American black walnut (30 mm) and 15 mm glass; declared for high-profile offices, from executive suites to collaborative spaces.

For projects in India, La Mercanti settles the depth on the floor plan together with shape, sectors and electrification, and issues a checked quotation before signature.

FAQ

How is the aluminium structure cared for?
Per ICF's care document: a soft, clean cloth with water and neutral soap — no solvents, thinners, alcohol, abrasive or chemical cleaners, no polishing sprays. Polished aluminium undergoes a natural oxidation over time.
What is the under-top cable tray?
A black painted metal tray fixed under the top, collecting the cables that come down from the door; the optional cable spine adds the vertical run to the floor.
Can the frame be painted instead of polished?
Polished aluminium (47) is the finish printed in the catalogue; ICF's web sheet also shows painted versions — black, bronze, silk grey, white — which we confirm with the factory before quoting.
What role does the central support play?
It is one of the black painted aluminium parts of the beam system, named in ICF's technical specification with the brackets and the connectors; where a given layout needs it is set by the manufacturer.
Which chairs pair with UniTable?
ICF's own meeting seating is in our catalogue alongside the table; the pairing is judged on real samples of top and upholstery, and the seat width feeds the seat count on the plan.

How to organise sampling for a UniTable order

Five steps to choose top and finish on evidence, not on screen.

Request samples by family
Melamine, Fenix, veneer, glass: gather the samples of the families shortlisted for the UniTable table.
Judge them in the room
Tones shift between screen, showroom and site: the honest comparison happens where the table will live.
Set them against the existing finishes
Floor, walls, joinery: the sample that holds next to all three is the right one.
Match top and door
The central insert of the door takes the top finish: validate both on the same sample.
Confirm and credit
The cost of the samples is credited in full at order confirmation — choosing on evidence costs nothing extra.
