One studio for the logo and the sofa — Andrea Steidl
Graphic design and industrial product rarely share a roof, yet that is precisely the brief of the practice Andrea Steidl founded with Raquel Pacchini: art direction, graphics, installations and manufactured products under one method. The discipline was earned inside Patricia Urquiola's studio, where he served as Creative Manager until 2016, running limited editions, temporary and site-specific installations and interior projects, with an industrial design degree from Milan Polytechnic behind him.
Four designs at LaCividina are his: Dorothea, Keisho, Nap and Suiseki. La Mercanti supplies this Italian upholstery brand to Indian offices and hospitality projects — when one studio handles both the image and the object, a reception area reads as a single decision instead of three.
