One of the five Ellan storage heights is chosen for a single reason: it is 75 cm high, exactly the height of the desk top. Archiutti calls it the bookcase coplanar with the desks. Set along the wall behind the executive, it turns into a second surface at the same level, so the line of the table does not stop at its edge but runs on across the room, and papers, a printer or a client's folder sit on the same plane as the desk without a step.
The square meeting tables of 140, 160 and 200 cm carry a top access, the rectangle measures 240 by 140 cm and the high table stands at 105 cm, all on the same 50 by 50 mm iron profile welded by hand near Treviso. The desk itself runs from 190 to 250 cm long and 90 cm deep, alone, with a side return, as a short top on the 65 cm bookcase or in a composition of 250 by 250 cm with return and service cabinet. Iron bare under a protective coat or powder-coated white, anthracite or black; tops in melamine or black and white Fenix; storage in the other four heights on an iron base or wall-hung, to a design by B+B Associati.

How to measure a cabin before ordering Ellan
Five checks that keep the Ellan desk, storage and meeting table on the drawing instead of in the corridor.
Start from the door swing
Mark the door arc on the plan first: the Ellan desk, 190 to 250 cm long, must sit where the door opens fully without touching the return.
Walk the visitor side
Leave 80 cm in front of the Ellan desk for the visitor chairs and 120 cm behind it for the executive chair, then check the remaining wall length.
Pick the storage from the wall you have
Measure the free wall between skirting and window frame: Ellan cabinets are 120 to 240 cm wide and 40 cm deep, and the widths are not cut to size.
Test the meeting table in the room
Tape the Ellan square, 140 to 200 cm, or the 240 by 140 rectangle on the floor and pull a chair out on every side: 90 cm clearance is the minimum.
Note the floor before you sign
The Ellan frame has no adjustable feet: lay a spirit level where the desk will stand and tell La Mercanti about any slope with the plan.
