On a large project, every exception in the specification multiplies: by floors, by rooms, by handover dates. This is where Cut Plus earns its place in the schedule. One collection covers wall-mounted basin and bidet mixers, shower groups and column, tub sets and built-in remote controls — so the same line can be written once and repeated across every bathroom of the building, from lobby level washrooms to the penthouse.

The design carries authority: it renews the first mixer project of Cea Design, drawn in 1998 by architects Mario Tessarollo and Tiberio Cerato, now reworked with Natalino Malasorti. Every body is AISI 316L stainless steel; the mixing concept is new — temperature set once, flow governed by a single movement. Configurations answer the drawings, not the other way round: handle right, handle left, or vertical.

Finishes run from satin and polished steel to Black Diamond, Bronze, Copper and Light Gold. La Mercanti supports Indian architects, developers and private clients with specification sheets, configuration schedules and detailed quotes on the project drawings.

FAQ

What separates the satin and polished finishes?
Satin steel absorbs light and sits quietly beside matte stone; polished steel reflects it and adds depth to compact or dark bathrooms. The AISI 316L body underneath is identical.
What does the shower column carry?
The CUT20 column brings together mixer, two-way diverter, built-in hand shower and a rain-jet head in one steel element — a complete shower point from a single reference.
Who are the designers of the collection?
Architects Mario Tessarollo and Tiberio Cerato, authors of the original 1998 mixer, working with Natalino Malasorti, co-founder and art director of CEA Design.
Why is the body steel instead of brass?
CEA Design manufactures its taps in stainless steel as its chosen material: AISI 316L through the full body, finished on the surface in six different ways.
How does the new mixing concept behave in daily use?
The temperature is set once and holds its position; after that, one single movement opens, regulates and closes the water at every use.

How to get a Cut Plus order right the first time

Five steps from drawing to a checked order list, position by position.

List every water point
Basin, bidet, shower, tub: give each position its exact Cut Plus reference, from CUT01 to CUT70, before anything is ordered.
Fix the handle directions
Note for each mixer: handle right, handle left, or vertical. Once the walls are closed, this is the decision that cannot be corrected.
Confirm the shower functions
Column, separate diverter or recessed controls with hand shower: settle the combination before the plumbing rough-ins are booked.
Check the recessed items early
Built-in boxes, feeds and heights go on the executive drawing before the wall coverings: recessed elements allow no second thoughts.
Have the list cross-checked
Send drawing and list to La Mercanti for a cross-check of Cut Plus references, directions and quantities before sign-off.
