Specifying taps for a serious project usually means choosing a mixing logic first and a design second — and accepting that the two rarely travel together across a whole building. Giotto by Cea Design removes the compromise: the same circular drawing is available in progressive, dual-handle and thermostatic versions, and Giotto Plus extends it with a single-lever mixer whose cartridge sits inside the handle.

That means the reception washroom, the director's bathroom and the guest suites can each get the logic that suits their use, while the eye reads one collection everywhere. The material does not change either: AISI 316L stainless steel, satin or polished, with the special finishes Black Diamond, Bronze, Copper and Light Gold, and handles available in four wood essences for the warmer rooms.

Designed by Natalino Malasorti, the collection carries the same geometry across washbasin and bidet mixers, shower and bath groups, a rim-mounted bathtub series, an extensive remote-control family and matching accessories. La Mercanti supports Indian projects from selection through delivery, with metric documentation as standard.

FAQ

Can different bathrooms in one project use different Giotto versions?
Yes — that is the point of the range: progressive, dual-handle, thermostatic and Giotto Plus single-lever versions share the same circular design, so each room is served in its own way without breaking the collection.
Is the Giotto range suitable for hospitality projects?
The collection covers washbasin, shower, bath, rim-mounted and remote-control configurations in one language, which is what suites and guest bathrooms typically require; La Mercanti supports specification room by room.
What comes with the Giotto Plus line specifically?
The single-lever mixer with its cartridge housed in the generous handle, plus deck and wall groups that combine with the FREE IDEAS deliveries: spouts, shower heads and hand showers.
What does the 2/3-way diverter in the Giotto shower groups do?
Fitted to the GIO85 thermostatic series and to dedicated remote controls, it routes water from one command point to two or three different deliveries — for example shower head, hand shower and spout.
Are samples available before specifying Giotto?
Yes, through La Mercanti: the cost of samples is fully credited at order confirmation.

How to survey a bathroom before ordering Giotto

Five checks on site that make a Giotto order precise: what to measure and record in each bathroom before any code is chosen.

Map every water point for Giotto
Walk the bathroom and list where Giotto will go: washbasin, bidet, shower, bathtub, and whether the tub stands against a wall or free in the room.
Count the existing holes and supplies
Record how many holes each basin or deck offers and where the supplies arrive: this decides between Giotto single-hole, two-hole, three-hole and wall-mounted versions.
Note which walls can carry controls
For shower areas, identify the walls available for Giotto remote controls and groups, and their distance from the water delivery points.
Match each room to its version
With the survey in hand, choose for every room between the progressive, dual-handle, thermostatic and Giotto Plus single-lever versions — before opening the code list.
Hand the survey to La Mercanti
Send the recorded points, holes and wall notes with your enquiry: the Giotto quotation then arrives configured, not generic.
