In an executive cabin, furniture is testimony. Lead by Las Mobili, designed by Progetto CMR — Giacobone & Roj, is presented by its own manufacturer as an icon, a symbol of leadership and authority — a chair that, in Las Mobili's words, communicates the user's position and the function of the environment in which it is set. Its material voice is die-cast aluminium: the five-star base Ø 700 mm, polished or painted black, and the BFC4 armrest in the same casting — with the padded, upholstered BFT armrest as the tailored register.
Three back heights spell the hierarchy — high 117–127 cm, medium 98–108 cm, low 80–90 cm, manufacturer data — over one construction: beech-poplar plywood shells with fire-retardant expanded polyurethane declared by the producer, a 100 mm core on the backrest at 35 kg/m³ and 55 mm on the seat at 40 kg/m³. Movement is chosen between G1 — chromed swivel plate, gas lift, 360° — and GY1 Gas Syncron, seat and back synchronised, lockable in 4 positions, tension tuned by knob to body weight, anti-shock lever. Gas columns comply with DIN 4550 above level 4 — manufacturer data.
Three bases, one floor
Lead changes feet room by room: five-star swivel on Ø 65 mm self-braking castors at the desk; aluminium pyramid (Ø 680 mm, four spokes, rubber glides) for the visitor side; ash wood pyramid — stained walnut or black, felt pads, nickel swivel plate — for the meeting room. Fourteen coverings from the LAS colour folder, from Ecopelle and Supreme with Aquaclean treatment to leather and customer's own fabric, and a five-year warranty declared by the manufacturer (coverings three years, padding two). The manufacturer declares the measures: 117–127 cm total height for the presidential cabin, 98–108 cm for everyday leadership, 80–90 cm for meeting tables and guests — where the chair should sit below the conversation. One construction under all three: the hierarchy is written in centimetres, not in different furniture families.
G1 is the essential mechanism: chromed die-cast swivel plate, gas lift lever, 360° — no settings. GY1 Gas Syncron synchronises seat and backrest, locks in 4 positions, tunes tension to body weight by knob and releases with an anti-shock lever. Both use gas columns complying with DIN 4550 above level 4 per manufacturer data. Choose per sitter: the recliner takes the Syncron.
The chair's voice. BFC4 shows polished or black die-cast aluminium, echoing the base; BFT wraps a plywood-and-polyurethane core (fire-retardant per manufacturer data) in the same fabric or leather as the shell. Fabric use moves with the choice — 1.85 m versus 2.45 m on the high back, producer data — which matters when specifying customer's own fabric.
