The desk carrying this standard is Ferruccio Laviani's 2019 sculpture for i4Mariani: a cantilevered top and a storage block conceived as faceted solids that interpenetrate, in his own words, with volumes delimiting functions. One single body holds four drawers and a door unit; the black steel frame stays out of sight, and the steel element under the top is covered in leather — luxury applied where only the owner knows it exists.
For Indian executive floors, the range scales with the hierarchy: desk at 280x230 or 230x190 in right- or left-handed versions, low tables for the visitors' corner, and a conference table whose suspended top reaches 530 centimetres on a single central base — free knee room for every chair that matters. Which finish does the technical sheet list as the baseline?
The ebony-type veneer — the collection's baseline, stated plainly on the technical sheet: standard, with other finishes available on request. It reverses the usual logic where dark exotic wood is the expensive last line of the price list; here it is simply how Euclideo arrives.
What other veneers can be requested for an Indian project?
The catalogue lists thirteen, from Macassar ebony and dark-stained Santos rosewood to striped and veined black walnut, graphite-stained ash, three oak tones and eucalyptus. RAL lacquer and leather-covered tops complete the options when wood is not the register.
How practical is the single-block construction for a director's cabin?
