Euclideo conference table by i4Mariani in a corporate boardroom

Six tops, three bases: how the Euclideo table is actually ordered

i4Mariani

Ferruccio Laviani

The price list for Euclideo is unusually short and unusually clear: six top codes and three base codes. Two lengths, 530 and 350 cm, each available veneered, lacquered or in leather; one base of 90 by 90 cm, offered in the same three finishes. Every possible configuration of this table is a pair drawn from those two lists.

For a corporate fit-out delivered floor by floor that structure matters more than a mood board. The same specification can be repeated in another city a year later without a single ambiguity, and a boardroom can differ from a meeting room by one code rather than by a new product. Designed by Ferruccio Laviani in 2024; La Mercanti issues the codes with the quotation so the record stays readable long after the project closes.

FAQ

How many versions of this table exist?
Six tops and three bases: two lengths, 530 and 350 cm, each in saddle leather, veneer or RAL lacquer, plus one 90 by 90 cm base in the same three finishes. Any configuration is a pair from those lists.
Can two rooms on the same floor differ by one code?
Yes, and that is the practical use of a short list. A boardroom at 530 and a meeting room at 350 share the base and differ only in the top code.
Will the same specification be repeatable next year?
The codes are the specification. Reissuing them reproduces the same configuration; availability and lead times are confirmed in writing at each order rather than assumed from the previous one.
What do the CU, ES and LA suffixes mean?
They identify the finish family: saddle leather, veneer and RAL lacquer respectively. The number identifies the size, the suffix identifies the material.
Are base and top invoiced separately?
They are listed as separate articles, so the quotation shows both lines. It is also what makes a leather top on a veneered base an ordinary choice rather than a special request.

How to write a repeatable specification for a meeting table

Five steps for a fit-out that has to be reproduced in another city.

Start from the two lists
Six tops, three bases. Every configuration of this table is one code from each.
Fix the length per room type
530 for the board, 350 for the meeting room, both at 180 depth. Assign lengths to room types once.
Choose the finish family
CU, ES or LA. The suffix travels with the code and removes descriptive adjectives from the order.
Record the pairing
Note which top sits on which base, especially if the two finishes differ deliberately.
Reissue rather than redescribe
For the next floor, reuse the codes. La Mercanti reconfirms availability and delivery in writing on each order.
