A top in three sections, 60 mm thick: how the iSixty executive table is built where the hands rest
The top of iSixty is not one board. Codutti's sheet says it is «divided into three sections», 60 mm thick, in MDF veneered with ash, and offers two ways of dressing it: «top with central part covered in thin or thick leather», or «full leather top where the leather is inlaid to form a flat surface with the wood». In both, the perimeter edge carries a leather section in the middle. The three sections are what allow the desk to carry its options without a visible box: the two cable hatches sit in the central section, the induction charger and the capacitive touch buttons of Soundoffice live in the thickness, and the pen drawer slides out of the edge.
Under the top, the sides are conical double shells with ash outside and leather inside; around it, the collection offers meeting tables for six to nineteen people, three families of bookcase, cabinets in three widths, a bar cabinet with a fridge and the Diamond chair, in the Avantgarde world of thick leather or the Luxury world of gold and silver leather with 24-carat gold-plated bands, under a five-year guarantee from Codutti. When the office is in Mumbai or Delhi, La Mercanti sends the sample of the top edge rather than a swatch of leather, because the edge shows the three materials in one piece: ash, leather and the thickness itself.

How do the cables get from the top to the floor?
Through the desk itself: two hatches in the central top lead to the horizontal conduit, then to the ducting inside the side panels, and the cable leaves through an opening at the foot of the side. No vertical duct is added to the outside of the leg.
What is inside the side panel of the desk?
Room. The conical side is a double plywood shell, ash-veneered outside and leather-covered inside, and it houses the cable ducting, the Soundoffice loudspeakers when fitted and, on request, the secretaire drawer with electronic or key lock.
How high is the Colonna bookcase?
Three heights: 79, 116 or 153 cm, at 290 cm wide and 48 cm deep. Two column cabinets are joined by 10 mm glass shelves, the sides are faced in leather, the sliding doors are curved plywood veneered in ash, and finished backs are available so the bookcase can stand in the middle of the room.
Can the handles be covered in leather?
Yes: the handles on drawer units, cabinet doors and bookcases are chrome-plated or 24-carat gold-plated metal and, on request, covered in thick or thin leather with saddle stitching. The key of every lock is covered in black leather.
What is the treasure chest?
The iSixty Treasure Chest is a casket given to customers who choose the collection: a cleaning and touch-up kit for the finishes and a handmade leather document holder with the Certificate of Authenticity. It rests on the serial number carried by every desk and meeting table.
How to roll out several iSixty desks in phases
When a leadership floor receives more than one iSixty desk, the order of the deliveries avoids closed cabins for weeks: five phases, counted from what needs power.
First phase: the room that needs power
Cabinets with a built-in fridge, Colonna bookcases with LED spots and bar cabinets are placed only when the electrical work is finished: plan them first, because their date fixes everyone else's.
Second phase: the cabin that cannot wait
The iSixty desk of the most used cabin is assembled complete, with back panel and cable route, so it is usable that evening; the other cabins follow one world at a time, Avantgarde together and Luxury together.
Third phase: what rolls
Drawer units, extensions on castors and side tables come in once the desks stand: they move and do not need an empty room.
Fourth phase: the boardroom
Meeting tables up to 560 cm are assembled in one session in an empty room, with the half-columns and the bands aligned before the chairs come in.
