Raw Edges: collected on four continents, produced by the best of Europe

Few young studios can map their work across museums the way Raw Edges can: the MoMA in New York, the Vitra Design Museum in Germany, the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, Design Museum Holon. Yael Mer and Shay Alkalay — a couple, Israeli-born, London-based since the Royal College of Art and their studio's founding in 2007 — build everything on colour, pattern and movement, with commissions from Louis Vuitton, Vitra and Kvadrat.

In India, that hand arrives through La Mercanti as the authored Mutina stoneware — brought over from Italy with the logistics handled, so the lobby gains a character that survives its own traffic.
