Office table Rizz by Pedrali with white solid laminate top and aluminium legs

Four channel lengths for five tables: how the cable duct of the Rizz office table by Pedrali follows the top

Pedrali

Robin Rizzini

The steel channel under a Rizz Office CC60 is not one part but four. Pedrali cuts it to the table: 935 mm for the 200 × 100, 1172 mm for both the 265 × 100 and the 340 × 110, 1840 mm for the 470 × 120 and 2530 mm for the 600 × 120, always 202 mm wide and 121 mm high, powder coated black. So the 265 and the 340 share a duct while the top grows by 75 cm, and the 600 gets a duct longer than the whole two-seat Workstation. Robin Rizzini drew a table that could stretch; the channel stretches with it, in steps, not in proportion, and that is worth knowing before counting the sockets each table will swallow.

The duct sits on the leg the whole family shares: die-cast aluminium, triangular at the top, round at the floor, with the load-bearing beams hidden under the top. From there Pedrali builds the fixed meeting tables from 200 × 100 to 340 × 110 cm, the compact CCO cable box for the smaller Rizz Office tables, the Rizz Workstation for two, four or eight with acoustic panels and the K_LUCE light bridge, and the outdoor table. Tops in solid laminate, anti-fingerprint Fenix or composite marble; frames powder coated or polished. For an office in India that counts sockets per desk, La Mercanti writes the duct length in millimetres next to every Rizz Office on the plan, so that the electrician knows before delivery how much steel each table hides.

FAQ

What is on top of the K_LUCE light bridge?
A shelf. The LED bridge that spans a Rizz Workstation has a flat top that Pedrali describes as extra space for plants or small objects, so the light over the desks also carries the pots, the phone stand and whatever the team leaves there. The strip underneath gives warm 3000 K light, 3500 lumen, dimmable to four levels.
Which feet are adjustable on a Rizz Workstation?
Only those under the central leg, and only on the 320 and 600 versions: the sheet marks them as black polyethylene, height-adjustable for the central leg. The four corner legs stand on fixed feet, so an uneven floor is corrected in the middle, where the steel column meets the ground.
How many frame colours does Rizz come in?
Seven combinations are priced in the Pedrali list (BI200, SA100, TE200, NERO, MI100, BL600, VE600) and the list adds that other standard powder-coated colours are available on request; the Pedrali site shows 34 codes plus the polished LU frame. The Workstation has its own range of sixteen codes.
Do the square and the round Rizz share the same size?
Yes, 159: the square is 159 × 159 cm and the round is 159 cm in diameter, both for the fixed, the Rizz Office CCO and the outdoor versions. The only difference in the sheet is height, 73 cm for the square and 74 cm for the round.
How is a Rizz table delivered?
Disassembled, in a single carton of 100% FSC recycled cardboard, from 44.4 kg for the round CCO table to 228.1 kg for the eight-seat Workstation. Pedrali's guarantee conditions ask for assembly by qualified technicians, which La Mercanti organises with the delivery.

How to clean a Rizz table: Fenix, laminate and aluminium in the right order

Pedrali publishes care instructions for the three materials of Rizz; here they are as a routine for the housekeeping team of an Indian office, starting from the surface that gets touched most.

Start with the Fenix top
Wipe the Fenix top of the Rizz with a microfibre cloth and neutral soap or a household degreaser, rinse with water and dry; on a stubborn mark use a melamine sponge, and Pedrali allows diluted denatured alcohol and ammonia.
Treat the laminate top more gently
On a solid laminate Rizz top the daily pass is a damp microfibre cloth; stains take a non-abrasive melamine sponge with neutral detergent, then lukewarm water and a dry cloth. No waxes, no scouring pads, no sharp tools.
Move to the aluminium legs and frame
Clean the legs of the Rizz with a soft cloth and neutral detergent, rinse and dry every time. Solvents, abrasive powders, acids and metal sponges are excluded by Pedrali.
Deal with a scratch on the frame
A light scratch on a Rizz leg takes a non-abrasive polish for painted surfaces, applied in circles, then wax or a sealant; deeper damage goes to a qualified technician for touch-up or repainting.
Keep the sheet by the desks
La Mercanti prints the three routines on one page with the top code of each Rizz on the floor, so the team knows at a glance which desks are Fenix and which are laminate.
