In a country that weaves like no other, one line on the Arper sheet reads almost like an invitation: the backrest of Mixu can be upholstered in the customer's own material. The house textile — the one that already tells the story of a hotel in Jaipur or a studio in Kochi — climbs onto a fully upholstered design chair drawn in 2021 with Gensler and renewed in the 2025 edition. The seat stays technical, in Elmosoft leather or Valencia coated fabric; the back becomes local. Four legs in chromed or powder-coated steel or solid oak carry the pair, and two stools at 69.5 and 79.5 cm of seat height extend it to counters and bars. Everything is assembled without glue, so the covers can be replaced over the years — the fabric may change with the seasons of the house.
