Stacking is written into most chair brochures as a virtue and rarely as a number. Pedrali gives the number, and it is not the same across the family: the plywood 2820 stacks up to six, the padded 2821 up to three, and on the remaining six codes stacking is simply not declared. For a hall that turns into a dining room, or a training room that empties before an event, that single figure decides how much storage you need to plan for.
Everything around it is built for institutional use: a die-cast aluminium support that ties legs, seat and backrest together, solid ash or American walnut legs, water-based matt lacquer that resists scratching, and glide inserts you can swap between felt and plastic when the floor changes from marble to carpet.
