Modern executive office table AlfaOmega by Codutti, Omega line in walnut dyed oak

Six, ten, fourteen or eighteen: the AlfaOmega modern executive table counted by the people around it

Codutti

The AlfaOmega price list does something few catalogues do: it counts the chairs. The round table on one column seats six, the rectangular on two half-columns seats eight, the modular on two, three or four columns seats ten, fourteen or eighteen, the ovals the same, and the semi-oval conference tables six, eight or ten. A 90° connecting table adds two seats to a modular layout. Every one of them keeps the same construction as the desk — two lacquered crosspieces joining two or more leather-covered columns, a 10 mm glass or 45 mm veneered top on a bevelled under-top — so the boardroom is chosen by headcount, and the finish follows.

The desk that opens the collection comes in two souls: Alfa, with tempered glass lacquered white or black and legs in embossed or carbon leather, and Omega, with ebony or walnut dyed oak, saddle-stitched leather or slate stone. Both can house Soundoffice, the stereo under the top, and both continue in cabinets that can house a safe, bookcases with curved sides and the Coupè chair, under Codutti's five-year guarantee. When the floor is in Mumbai or Bengaluru, La Mercanti starts the layout from the number of people the managing director wants at the table, and only then draws the desk.

FAQ

What is Soundoffice?
A stereo system built into the desk: loudspeakers of 20 W at 8 ohm with a 95-22,000 Hz response under the top, a hi-fi amplifier covering 20-20,000 Hz, a microphone for hands-free calls and touch controls on the desk pad. Devices connect by 3.5 mm mini-jack or Bluetooth.
Which woods and leathers does Omega use?
Oak veneer dyed ebony (code SH11) or walnut (SU09), thick leather in millemiglia (DM45) or plum red (CI71), and slate stone (QA51) worked like leather on legs, inserts and back panels. Glass, where used, is black (VN70).
How are the drawer units built?
With an 18 mm lacquered structure, all-metal drawers on concealed Quadro ball-bearing runners, soft closing and anti-tip as standard, a simultaneous lock on all drawers and a plastic stationery tray under the top. They stand on four swivel castors and have chrome-plated handles.
Can the cabinets hold a safe?
Yes: the price list offers a built-in digital safe with a black metal frame for the cabinets, and a built-in refrigerator for single or double doors, with a side shelf for glasses. Cabinets used alone with filing drawers must be secured to a supporting wall.
What does the AlfaOmega treasure chest contain?
A cleaning and touch-up kit to maintain the finishes, and a handmade leather document holder with the Certificate of Authenticity of the office. Every desk and meeting table carries a serial number, which is what makes the certificate possible.

How to compose an AlfaOmega desk from its options

Extension, low unit, back panel, cable duct: the AlfaOmega price list treats each as a separate code, and the office decides which ones the desk needs.

Start from the wall behind the chair
If the executive works with visitors in front, an AlfaOmega desk with the full-height leg-covering back panel closes the view under the top; if the desk faces a window, the open version keeps the curve visible from the door.
Decide where the storage goes
The independent extension takes up to four modules, small cabinet or pair of drawers; the low unit of 210 cm takes two. Choose the side of the return according to which hand reaches for the drawers.
Plan the cables before the finish
Horizontal ducting is standard; add the vertical duct on the leg, in leather or stone, only if the outlet is on the floor. It is a separate code and must be ordered with the desk.
Match the extension to the line
On Alfa the modules are lacquered white or black; on Omega the fronts come in oak veneer or leather and stone. The extension follows the desk finish, not the other way round.
Send the sketch with the codes
La Mercanti returns the drawing with each element numbered as in the price list, so that the order confirmation and the installer's list describe the same AlfaOmega desk.
