The Indian corporate office has a power problem that furniture catalogues politely ignore: every director table ends up wearing an extension board. Elite by Las Mobili, designed by Milan architecture firm Progetto CMR, solves it at the source — a channelled steel beam under the 35 mm top carries two USB A+C chargers and a three-socket kit inside the table itself. One feed from the floor, and laptop, phone and visitor's charger all connect at desk level, invisibly.

Three configurations cover the modern Indian workplace: structural pedestal for the classic cabin, pedestal with CPU compartment where towers must vanish, and extension — with an optional RFID electronic lock, master and user cards, made for offices where cabins are shared across visiting leadership. Two finishes, Dark and Light Poplar on a Black 59 spine, keep a multi-cabin specification coherent and fast to approve.

Cabin to boardroom in one code

Meeting tables scale from 120 x 120 cm to compound boardroom tables of 420, 490 and 560 cm with an inspectable wire-manager column — AV and power live inside the base. Boiserie shelves with optional LED, cabinets with sliding or back-lacquered glass doors, titanium-coloured soft-close hinges. The manufacturer declares CAM environmental conformity on the technical sheet; certificates are downloadable from this page.

FAQ

Indian offices run on extension boards. How does Elite remove them?

By making the table the distribution point. The structural beam under the top carries two USB A+C chargers and a three-socket kit, factory-fitted. The building brings one feed — floor box or wall — to the beam, and everything else connects at desk level. Raise the feed position with the MEP consultant at electrical design stage; the socket standard is declared at order. The visitor side of the table never shows a wire.

Cabins in our client's office are shared between visiting leadership. Does Elite handle that?

That is exactly what the RFID extension lock is for: an electronic lock with a master card for admin and user cards that change hands without a locksmith. A visiting director gets a secure drawer for the week; facilities never manages physical keys. Combined with the CPU compartment configuration, the shared cabin stays clean, secure and instantly reassignable.

Is a melamine top appropriate at executive level, honestly?

Specified honestly, yes — and we always describe it as what it is: 35 mm melamine-faced board with 2 mm ABS edges, not veneer, not solid wood. At working-executive level the edge is what fails first on cheap tables; Elite's 2 mm ABS and 45° mechanical joints are engineering choices for ten-year daily use. Where a client wants wood at the writing surface, the extension's type-B insert comes in wood veneer.

How big can the conference table go for a new Indian headquarters?

Up to 560 cm — a genuine sixteen-plus-seat boardroom table — via compound tables of 420, 490 and 560 x 140 cm built around an inspectable wire-manager column with cable shelves. AV equipment and power bricks live inside the base. Square 120 and 140 cm tables cover huddle rooms; 240 and 320 cm the mid-size rooms. One finish code across all of them.

What documents support procurement and green-building files?

The manufacturer declares CAM environmental conformity on the Elite technical sheet — Italy's public green-procurement criteria — and the product certificates are downloadable from this page. Dimensioned drawings and a component bill of materials with product codes come with the specification. Project-specific requirements are confirmed project by project before order, never assumed.

Specifying Elite for an Indian corporate project

Five steps for Indian A&D and procurement teams: configurations by cabin type, power standardization, palette, boardroom and documentation.

Assign configurations by cabin type, not by person

Director cabins: structural pedestal. Cabins with resident workstations: pedestal with CPU compartment. Shared or visiting-leadership cabins: extension with RFID electronic lock. Deciding by room type keeps the specification valid when people move — which, in a growing Indian corporate, is every quarter.

Standardize power with the MEP consultant early

Each table needs one feed to its beam; the beam distributes USB A+C and three sockets from there. Fix a single feed-point convention for every cabin and mark it on the electrical drawings before ordering — the socket kit standard is declared at order stage. This is the step that removes extension boards from the project permanently.

Set the palette once: light or dark

Light Poplar for daylight-poor floors and compact cabins; Dark Poplar where the brand reads warmer and more established. Everything — fronts, boiserie, meeting tables, cabinets — follows on the Black 59 spine. Physical samples are dispatched for approval under site lighting; the sample cost is credited in full against a confirmed order.

Design the boardroom around the column

Pick 420, 490 or 560 cm from the seat count, place the wire-manager column at the floor feed, and order the top-access units — with or without sockets — together with the tops, since cut-outs are factory-made. The column is inspectable: IT can service the room without lifting the table.

Close the file with certificates attached

Download the product certificates from this page and attach the manufacturer's CAM declaration to the procurement file. Tender-specific requirements — emissions, fire rating, client audit formats — are confirmed project by project before the order is placed. Specification and delivery must match on paper before they match on site.
