Office partition walls www.60 by Archiutti with integrated shelves

A shelf at desk height: www.60 office partition walls by Archiutti extend the workstation

Archiutti

The first shelf of www.60 is not where a bookshelf would put it. Archiutti sets the integrated projecting shelves in 40 cm steps starting at 73 cm from the floor, which is the height of a desktop: the lowest shelf lines up with the worksurface and becomes a lateral or rear extension of the workstation, on a wall that also separates the rooms. Up to four opposed levels can be fitted on the opaque double panel or on the double glazing, on one side or on both.

The shelves are one of the configurations of a single system by ambostudio, all on a 60 mm perimeter profile, exposed or concealed: double- and single-glazed office partition walls, opaque panels in wood, gloss, matt or colour, sound-absorbing and fitted panels, storage units built into the wall, sliding and swing doors, LED strips in the frame. The glazed version, the wooden version and the other configurations reach 3000 mm and keep one image across the floor.

On a campus plan, La Mercanti draws the shelf levels workstation by workstation before the order is placed.

FAQ

Can the profile be hidden in the ceiling and floor?
Yes: in the concealed version the perimeter structure sits inside the false ceiling, the plasterboard or the floor, which Archiutti recommends for buildings prepared for the partition; the exposed profile is the choice for finished interiors.
Sound-absorbing or soundproof panel: which one does what?
The soundproof double panel and the double glazing block sound between two rooms; the sound-absorbing double panel reduces the noise inside a room by absorbing part of it, and both sit on the same profile.
How do the two doors compare?
The internal sliding door leaves an 850 mm passage and saves corridor space; the coplanar swing door opens 890 mm to 135° and is the one Archiutti recommends for acoustic privacy, even when glazed.
What happens if a glass panel is broken?
The top structural clamp and the three-sided joints keep glass and panels in their original position after a breakage, so an escape route is not blocked by a fallen pane.
Which glass options are there?
Clear, partially screened with applied graphics, frosted or opaque, in double glazing on the exposed profile or single glazing on the concealed profile, centred or flush with one side.

What goes into the order file for a www.60 partition

The five documents that must sit in the file before www.60 office partition walls by Archiutti go into production, and who provides each one.

Start with the survey drawing
The measured plan with floor-to-slab heights and floor differences is the first sheet of the www.60 by Archiutti file; every other document refers to it.
Add the bay schedule
One line per www.60 bay: glazing type, panel type, width, finish on each face, storage and shelf positions.
Include the door schedule
Sliding or swing, handle type, floor lock and the opening direction of every www.60 door, marked on the plan.
File the services layout
Where the switch-box uprights, pass-through elements, LED strips and any monitor sit in the www.60 profiles, agreed with the electrical consultant.
Keep the certificates with the order
Archiutti's ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and FSC company certifications and the technical sheets complete the file; La Mercanti checks the set before the order is confirmed in writing.
