Both Elinor chairs leave the factory disassembled, one piece per carton, 0.39 m³ each — the same volume for the high back and for the low back, because the box is sized on the base and the seat, not on the backrest. It is a small number with a consequence attached: Pedrali makes the 24-month warranty conditional on assembly carried out by qualified technicians following its own instructions, and on the chair not being combined with components it did not supply.
On a project that lands fifty cartons in a lobby, that clause decides who unpacks them. The two versions divide the floor between them — the 3755 where the desk is, the 3756 low back wherever someone sits facing it — and both are assembled the same way, on a five-spoke die-cast aluminium base with a gas-lift column. La Mercanti books the fitters with the delivery rather than after it, so the cartons are opened once by people whose work keeps the warranty alive. The same collection also brings the Elinor tables, in 150×150, 200×110, 260×110 and 300×110 cm, and cables run either in a duct along the top or in a compact box.

FAQ
What is under the tabletop
A rounded, matt-lacquered MDF support that conceals the electro-welded steel structure joining the two bases to the top. It is what allows the visible top to stay at 6 mm.
What is the difference between CC60 and CCO
CC60 is a slot with a black powder-coated duct and a cover cut from the same material as the top: 280×60 mm on the square, 540×60 mm on the three rectangular sizes. CCO is a compact cable box instead.
Can the two table bases be arranged differently
Yes. Pedrali declares two layouts for the same table, closed or open brackets, with the elements always placed symmetrically. The top does not change; the reading of the table does.
What is the working height of the tables
740 mm at the bases and 745 mm at the top, across all four sizes: 150×150, 200×110, 260×110 and 300×110 cm.
Which European tests are declared
EN 1728:2012+AC:2013 at clauses 7.3, 7.4, 7.5, 7.6, 7.7, 7.9 and 7.10, each read with clause 5.2 of EN 1335-2:2018. Seven separate loadings, listed one by one on the sheet.
How to set up an Elinor chair on the first day
Elinor has two levers and a wide seat travel, and most chairs are used for years at the setting they arrived with. Five steps to leave it right the first time.
Start from the desk, not from the chair
Measure the working surface first. The Elinor seat travels from 410 to 540 mm, and knowing the desk height turns that range into a single figure instead of a series of attempts.
Raise or lower the seat with the left lever
The chromed lever for seat lift works on the gas cartridge in the Ø 40 mm column. Set it with your feet flat, then leave it: on Elinor this is the adjustment everything else is built on.
Release the backrest and let it follow you
The second chromed lever controls backrest inclination. Elinor's synchro mechanism is weight activated, so the resistance is set by the person sitting rather than by a dial to calibrate.
Check the angles against the declared range
Pedrali declares movements of 9°, 0.5°, 18° and 1.5° on Elinor. If the backrest stops well short of that, the lever is still locked rather than the chair being at its limit.
Note the settings before the room fills up
Write down the seat height once Elinor is right. On a floor delivered in one go, the same figure repeated across identical desks saves the second round of adjustments a week later.
