For institutional projects, a covering is only as good as the paperwork behind it. The coated fabric offered on Sit it arrives with its results already published: colour fastness to light 6 of 8, rub fastness 4-5 of 5, abrasion at 60,000 cycles, tensile strength measured in both directions, tear strength, and flex resistance at 100,000 cycles — alongside four national fire references.
The chair beneath it is a collection by Sergio Bellin and Dorigo Design, covered by a Registered Design Patent: steel and aluminium frame, differentiated-density cushions, and armrests blended into the seat. Executive, managerial and meeting versions share width and armrest height and differ in declared depth.
