Fitting out a floor usually means shopping in three places: something for the boardroom, something for the desks, something stackable for training. ICF developed Stick as one coherent range instead, built from the start around a shared set of structural and functional elements. Sled base, stool, four legs, cantilever, four-star and five-star bases — the same profile runs through all of them, which is what keeps a floor visually calm when five rooms are furnished at once.

This page covers the two star-base versions, the ones that belong around a conference table. The ATK series carries an aluminium backrest support; the ETK series does without, and sits one centimetre higher. Both take a low or a high back, arms or no arms, mesh or upholstery. Elsewhere in the same family the collection serves task work at a screen, executive rooms, visitor and public areas and multipurpose spaces. Frame: side elements fixed to cross members in die-cast aluminium; the resulting frame is a rigid construction that holds its shape even under considerable stress and at the same time supports the mesh suspension and the fabric or leather padding. Low or high back, three finishes: polished, chrome or painted
Seat and back: a single flexible sheet of elastic material, tensioned in suspension on the perimeter structure
Mesh: single-colour nylon mesh (75% vinyl resin, 25% polyester) or two-colour elastic mesh (70% polyester elastomer, 30% polyester); it allows full breathability and air circulation
Fabric and leather: the sheet is sandwich-moulded, with a central layer of high-strength technical material between two layers of flexible polyurethane; leather upholstery has a leather-look back in predetermined colour combinations
Armrests: open in shape, die-cast aluminium with a finish matching the frame and an optional plastic cover; they can be removed and replaced on site. Also available without armrests
Auto-return swivel mechanism: not height-adjustable, it lets the seat swivel freely and brings it back to the front-facing position on its own, keeping the chairs around the table aligned; it is standard on four-star base models

How many versions does the family have?
Six base types: sled, stool, four legs, cantilever, four-star and five-star. ICF developed them together from the start, so the structural and functional elements are shared and the visual language holds across rooms.
What is the difference between ATK and ETK?
The ATK series has an aluminium support for the backrest; the ETK series does not. In practice the ETK seat sits one centimetre higher — 51 cm fixed instead of 50, and 48-58 instead of 47-57 when adjustable.
Can one specification cover several rooms?
That is the point of the range. The conference version, the task version at a screen, the visitor chair and the training-room seat share a profile, a set of finishes and an upholstery card, so a floor can be ordered as one family.
How do the product codes work?
The first digit carries the function: 2xx is fixed height with auto-return, 1xx is height-adjustable, 3xxT adds the tilting mechanism. The digits that follow tell you the back height and whether armrests are fitted.
Does it suit a warm, humid office?
The mesh version works in suspension and lets air circulate through the seat rather than trapping it, which is the reason it is specified for rooms that fill up. Fabric and leather remain available where the register calls for them.
