Look under a conference table and you usually find legs, a beam and a tangle of extension leads. Under Corniche there is a cabinet: a base with veneered doors running around it, an internal frame in black melamine panel, and a route already prepared for the cabling that feeds fourteen seats. Storage and services occupy the same volume instead of competing for it.
Above that base the top is veneered particleboard in veined black walnut, 600 by 240 cm at a height of 74, with fourteen saddle leather inserts flush-mounted and an electrical box for every position. Is the base only structural, or can it hold things?
It is a cabinet. The datasheet describes a base with doors in veneered particleboard and an internal frame in black melamine panel, so the volume under the top is usable rather than merely supporting.
Where do the wires go on a fourteen-seat table?
Into the base, which comes prepared for cable passage; the cables themselves are supplied by the project. From there each of the fourteen positions has its own electrical box on the top.
Is the top solid timber?
No, and the sheet says so plainly: the top is built from veneered particleboard panels. On a six-metre surface that construction is what keeps the plane flat and stable over the years.
Which veneer arrives without a special request?
Veined black walnut is the standard. Other finishes exist but are handled as requests, confirmed in writing on the order rather than assumed.
How is the leather protected where the cables pass?
