DR by Frezza: the 40 mm top that is milled hollow inside, on a solid wood desk
Look at the service unit next to a DR desk and the top reads as a solid 40 mm slab. It is not. Frezza mills it internally, so the 40 mm top keeps the thickness the eye expects and loses the weight the floor does not need. The units are joined at 45 degrees, stand on solid wood feet with steel levellers and carry a tempered glass top; the desk beside them is Claudio Bellini's solid wood frame, in lacquered kotibé mahogany or dark walnut, under a top in walnut, glass or Calacatta-finish stoneware. A designer office table built like cabinetry, thought through to the parts that are never seen.
