Does the desk support a wired network connection?
Yes. The connectivity box includes two RJ45 ports alongside the power outlets, so a director workstation and a video conferencing device can both run on cable rather than on wireless. For rooms where meetings are recorded or streamed, that is usually the difference between a reliable call and an apologetic one.
Is the connectivity box visible when the desk is not in use?
It sits in the top and opens through a flap, so the ports are reached when needed and covered the rest of the time. The manufacturer specifies a single box for the desk, which keeps the surface uninterrupted rather than dotted with separate outlets.
