Trade terms for professionals and design studios
On a fit-out of three hundred desks, the covering is not a matter of taste but of filing. The DuoChair chart lists seventeen ranges across three families: ten fabrics from Atlantic to Grain, three leather and eco-leather ranges, four meshes. Counted colour by colour, that is 160 options — Atlantic alone offers seventeen, Tale, Tonal and Cura fifteen each, String only two.
Used properly, that range codes a building: one colour per floor, one per department, one for the visitor chairs so nobody walks off with them. Two practical constraints belong in the same decision. Categories A, B, C and F are 100% recycled polyester, GRS certified and compliant with OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 and EU Ecolabel; and several certifications — CAM, LEED, ANSI Bifma, the VOC emission report — are declared with the Mini and Mini Melange coverings specifically. La Mercanti works through both lists with Indian architects and contractors before a single sample is shipped.
