Bespoke: size, colour, finish
Painted bases show every knock; the paint sits on top. For the Pyla, ICF offers a second logic: a five-star base in mass-coloured plastic — black or light grey — where the pigment runs through the polymer itself. What gets scuffed by shoes and vacuum cleaners simply exposes more of the same colour. For large Indian fit-outs, where hundreds of task chairs meet daily traffic, that is not a cosmetic note but a maintenance line: the base that never needs touch-up paint. The aluminium version — chromed, polished or painted — remains for those who want metal underfoot.
Above either base works the full responsive family: three backs — breathable mesh, suspended fabric, fully covered Soft — on a die-cast aluminium rear spine, adaptive lumbar element, 4D armrests, seat depth adjustable while seated. The steel-sled visitor chair, the four-leg version on casters and the counter stool complete the floor. La Mercanti delivers the range to India with samples first and one consolidated shipment after.

Load-bearing structure: rear structure in die-cast aluminium with maximum torsional resistance; supports the back shell, anchors the armrests and transmits the tilt geometry to back and seat; two back heights; polished, chromed or painted
Backs: Mesh — technopolymer frame with load-bearing flexible mesh, 3D monochrome (100% polyester) or two-tone elastic (70% polyester elastomer, 30% polyester), fully breathable; Fabric — suspended fabric or leather cover with characteristic horizontal ribbing, distributing body weight; Soft — frame fully covered in fabric or leather, keeping breathability and elasticity; leather versions with colour-matched faux-leather rear
Seat: cold-foamed polyurethane cushion, 55 mm, with structural polypropylene insert; foam certified class 1 IM; seat depth adjustable over 6 cm from the seated position via a lever under the seat
Adaptive lumbar support: element that automatically increases the tension of the back membrane; height-adjustable over a 6 cm range
Armrests: 4D adjustable (height, depth, width, rotation) with soft integral polyurethane pads; vertical support in polished or chromed die-cast aluminium or polyamide; fixed aluminium armrests available; also without armrests
Mechanisms: synchronised tilt with knob for individual counter-pressure, lockable upright and in four intermediate positions; or synchronised «auto-fit» tilt with automatic resistance calibration on the user's weight, extra fine-tuning knob and optional forward tilt; gas lift 12 cm, EN 16955:2017

Care and maintenance: fabric with a vacuum cleaner and upholstery nozzle, stains with a dry cleaning agent, never rotating brushes or water; mesh with a soft brush or sponge and water with detergent; leather and hide kept away from direct sunlight and heat sources, cleaned two or three times a year with Leather Soft Cleaner and protected with Leather Protection Cream; aluminium with a soft cloth, water and neutral soap, never solvents or abrasives; plastic parts with soap and water
Weight and recyclability: approx. 17.5 kg on model PF.256 (technical sheet), 19–21 kg depending on model (price list); approx. 94% recyclable when the components are fully and correctly separated; materials: plastic 50%, aluminium 23%, metal 15%, polyurethane 5%
