Canaletto walnut is the wood of boardroom tables and prized Italian cabinet-making; Miunn brings it to a bar-height seat. The 3D-curved shell can be finished in this warm, open-grained walnut — alongside bleached oak, black open-pore and dark walnut-stained oak — turning a stool into the most refined object at the counter. For clubhouses, director floors and hotel lounges, it is the difference between seating and furnishing.
Karri Monni designed Miunn in 2011 as a family of nine versions: four chairs and five design bar stools, fixed at 65 or 75 cm or gas-adjustable from 53 to 78 cm. The shell also comes in rigid flame-retardant Baydur®, white or black, or fully upholstered in fabric or hide; frames span stainless steel, chrome satin, aluminium and powder colours including five outdoor shades.

Chairs: S160 sled base in powder-coated or chrome-satin steel; S161 four-leg with hemisphere polyethylene feet; S162 swivel on aluminium star base; S164 legs in curved plywood.
Stools: S104_65 and S104_75, steel-wire sled base, heights 65 or 75 cm; S104T swivel with round base and S104 with square base, gas adjustment 53–78 cm, frame in shot-peened Aisi 304 stainless steel, base clad in «linen-weave» finish steel with felt underneath; S105_65 and S105_75, curved plywood legs with chrome-satin steel footrest.
Shell: 3D-curved plywood in several finishes; or rigid flame-retardant Baydur® polyurethane in white or black; or fully upholstered in fabric or hide.
Wood finishes: bleached oak, black open-pore, dark walnut-stained oak, Canaletto walnut; wooden legs in bleached or black open-pore oak.
Metal finishes: stainless steel, chrome satin, aluminium; powder coating in white, black and pistachio, plus the outdoor shades pearl, light blue, brick, olive and dove grey.
Upholstery: fabrics in categories A to D; hide in 7 colours, Soft-leather in 17, Valencia eco-leather in 72.
Declared tests: EN 1728:2012; EN 16139:2013 level L2 extreme; EN 15373:2007 level L3 severe on the adjustable stools; upholstery test 1 IM on Hallingdal.
Care: damp cloth or diluted neutral detergent; no alcohol, bleach, solvents or abrasives; lift by the frame, never by the seat alone.
