Jean-Marie Massaud drew a Toyota concept car

Jean-Marie Massaud, designer working from mobility to furniture

In 2013 Toyota presented a concept car at its Paris showroom, MeWe, drawn by Jean-Marie Massaud. His work runs from mobility to a single seat, and it is held together by a stated ambition: to replace quantitative production with things that are light, timeless and worth keeping. He founded his studio in 1996.

Two brands in our catalogue work with him — Arper and MDF Italia, whose Yale sofa won the Compasso d'Oro. In India they arrive through La Mercanti, from the boardroom down to the waiting area.
