Trade terms for professionals and design studios

Most systems grow by adding options. 20.Venti Light does the opposite: MDF Italia describes it as the version that streamlines the original system to a more essential and versatile solution, designed to meet operational needs. Same language, fewer parts — single, double and quadruple workstations that combine, with accessories available to extend them when a specific desk requires it.

For a floor of fifty or two hundred people, that distinction matters more than any finish: it is the difference between equipping every desk as if it were the manager's and equipping each desk for the work actually done on it. The frame stays the same in both versions — steel of 20 by 20 mm, matt powder-coated — as does the matt Fenix or melamine top.

The full 20.Venti range adds a high workstation and flexible configurations, plus the compact Home versions; it was selected for the XXVI Compasso d'Oro ADI in 2020. La Mercanti coordinates specification, shipping and installation for Indian corporate projects.

How to phase a fit-out that will grow next year

Five steps for project teams furnishing a floor now and adding to it after the next hiring round.

Record the exact finish codes
A written code for top, frame and compartment is what makes a second order match the first one a year later.
Fix one width for the whole floor
A single module keeps the grid intact, so additional desks land in place without redrawing the layout.
Leave circulation for the next row
Plan the aisles for the floor you expect, not only for the desks you are installing now.
Order a small buffer of accessories
Screens and holders are easier to specify with the main order than to match later, one item at a time.
Keep the specification on file
Confirm everything in writing through La Mercanti and keep that document: it is the reference for every future phase.
