Vogue reception desk by Frezza with lacquered top and melamine finishing panels

The panel snaps on: metal inserts and no screws through the face of the Vogue reception desk by Frezza

Frezza

Perin & Topan

Run a hand along the front of Vogue and you will not find a screw head. Frezza builds the internal structure of this reception desk with vertical melamine panels fitted with metal inserts, and the decorative panels hook onto those inserts by snap-fit: the face stays clean, the panel sits flat, and it can come off again in the same way it went on. The technical sheet calls it fissaggio ad incastro, fixing by interlocking, and it is the reason a lacquered front on Vogue reads as one uninterrupted surface from the plinth to the top.

Perin & Topan drew the rest as a kit: linear modules from 71 to 200 cm, closed and open corners, lowered welcome modules at 74 cm, service units with a lockable door and a grille for the PC, hanging returns for the operator, and a 70 mm finishing top that can carry a glass shelf and a warm LED strip. Frezza states three settings for it, the office reception, the hotel reception and the conference-room counter; La Mercanti ships Vogue to India as a complete composition drawn on your floor plan, with finishes agreed on physical samples and a delivery date that goes into the order confirmation in writing and is then kept. Send the plan, and we will mark on it where each panel will hook.

FAQ

How long can a Vogue reception desk be?
Catalogue compositions run from 126 to 526 cm, built from linear modules of 71, 120, 160 and 200 cm; with corners the layout turns into an L or a U up to 218 cm deep. Longer counters are a matter of adding modules on the plan.
What is the lowered part of Vogue for?
It is the welcome module at 74 cm, where a seated visitor, a wheelchair user or a guest signing a form meets the receptionist at desk height. It comes 71, 120 or 160 cm wide, in a 75 or 105 cm depth, and sits in line with the 109 cm modules.
Which colours does the lacquer of Vogue by Frezza come in?
Eight catalogue colours in matt or gloss polyurethane, from white RAL 9016 and corn yellow to Titian red, two blues, two greys and black RAL 9011, plus a customer colour. Melamine is the alternative, in seven wood and solid finishes.
Where does the receptionist's computer go in the Vogue desk?
On the hanging return or in the service unit, which is 44 cm wide and 109 cm tall with a shelf rated 25 kg; at its base a metal grille with an 8 cm hole passes the cables and lets the PC breathe.
Who designed the Vogue reception desk?
G. Perin and G. Topan, the studio credited by Frezza on the technical sheet of Vogue. La Mercanti supplies the desk with the manufacturer's catalogue and technical documentation, both available from this page.

How to receive a Vogue reception desk by Frezza in a building already in use

Five steps to install a new front desk while the office or hotel keeps working around it.

Clear the Vogue footprint
Mark on the floor the area of the Vogue composition plus a working margin, and move the temporary desk so that visitors are still received while the modules go in.
Route to the entrance
Check doors, corridors and the lift for the longest module, up to 200 cm, and protect floors along the path with cardboard or felt.
Power before furniture
Have the sockets and data points live at the wall or floor positions agreed on the plan, so the cabling enters the tray on the day of assembly.
Assembly window
Book the assembly outside peak hours and keep the packaging in one place: the panels hook on last, after structure, plinth and top are levelled.
Handover
Walk the desk with the installer, test the flap, the lock and the LED if fitted; La Mercanti keeps the packing list and the technical sheet on file for the building manager.
