Contract seating rarely gets the life the drawing imagined: more people, longer hours, less patience. Cierre answers that with a line in the technical sheet of Nuvola: on request a steel support frame can be fitted to the armrest and/or the backrest, in the same three finishes as the feet — polished, Gunmetal, metallic bronze.

It is an option, not a standard, and that is exactly why it matters: it is decided at order stage, with the use in mind. The sofa is modular, designed by Stefano Conficconi in 2026, with reclining metal backrests.
