Straight rows are a habit, not a requirement. In a room where the speaker stands at the front, a curved row puts more people at a workable angle to the same point, and the E5000 is built to take that shape: compositions run in a straight line, on a curve with a minimum radius of 500 cm, on tiers or on sloping floors.

The curve is possible because of how the system is built rather than because of a special part. The load-bearing beams are continuous extrusions with internal ribs and external grooves, so uprights and tables attach where the geometry asks rather than at a fixed module — and the tip-up writing table stays fixed to that same continuous beam on curved runs too.

The rest follows the room: three bench types for front, intermediate and end rows, three versions of the writing table, and front panels running to the floor that are available for straight and curved layouts alike. FAQ

What is the tightest curve the system takes?
A minimum radius of 500 cm, stated in the dimensional drawings for all three versions. Below that the row has to be broken into straight segments, which is a layout decision to take early.
Does the writing table still work on a curve?
Yes. It is fixed to the continuous extruded beam, which does not require a pre-set module, and the manufacturer states this explicitly for the curved version as well.
Can a room combine a curve with tiers?
The system is documented for straight, curved, tiered and sloping installations, with dimensioned drawings for steps up to 10 cm, up to 24 cm and from 24 to 50 cm. On tiers the backrest height varies with the step height.
Do the front panels follow the curve?
They do: the single vertical panels that run to the floor are available for straight and curved compositions, in HPL double-laminate or in beech and oak with a clear polyurethane coating.
Does a curved layout change the seat pitch?
The pitch is adjustable from a minimum of 51 cm in any geometry, because the beam carries continuous channels rather than pre-set holes. With arms, the drawings show 57 cm.

Deciding the geometry of a hall before choosing finishes

Test the curve on the drawing first
Minimum radius 500 cm. If the room is tighter, the row becomes straight segments and the quantities change.
Check the step heights against the drawings
Up to 10 cm, up to 24 cm, and 24 to 50 cm are the documented cases. Anything else needs confirming before it is priced.
Fix the pitch after the geometry
Continuous channels mean the pitch follows the plan rather than the plan following the module.
Assign bench types row by row
Front row with panels, intermediate rows with tip-up seats, end row with the seat only.
Leave finishes last
HPL or lacquered wood, upholstered or not: none of it changes the layout, so none of it should hold up the layout.
