A detail that specification writers notice immediately: the Pix sheet references two standards, not one. EN 16139 covers non-domestic seating, for the ottomans; EN 15372 covers non-domestic tables, for the Pix Table. The declared application levels follow the same logic — L1 for general use across offices, showrooms, public halls, restaurants, canteens, banks and bars, L2 for extreme settings. For an Indian tender or a hotel fit-out, that is two boxes ticked by one collection and one supplier.
Behind the paperwork sits a family designed by Ichiro Iwasaki in 2010: round ottomans from one to five seats (49 to 177 cm), Pix Cubo in square and rectangular, and a side table with gas-lift height adjustment. Upholstery in fabric, leather, coated fabric or the customer's own material, an outdoor version with water-repellent inner lining, glides under every piece. Waiting and reception first, then bars, restaurants, hospitality, contract, collaborative work and the home.
